Update to the review below: February 2024 Rick and his team continue to amaze me. Periodic Maintenance was suggested to me and I am so Thankful that we made the decision! A good cleaning, a little grease on the chain and the lift works every bit as good as the first day of installation. We have had no issues other than a battery on a remote. Of course, Eric came right out and checked the lift over and replaced the battery! He even ran the diagnostics to double check that was the problem! Being able to operate the controls by chair, or by one of the two single remotes we keep in the Condo, or the detached garage has been so helpful. I just cannot say enough about the quality of workmanship and the communication skills of Stairlifts of Southwest Florida! Hey, we even use the chair as a grocery lift to get bags and containers upstairs. It makes living on the second floor very doable at any age. Update to the review below: January 2023 Stairlifts of SW Florida, LLC. continue to amaze me! We have had two opportunities for service since the exterior PILOT stairlift was installed. The first was a warranty issue from the Manufacturer. Rick's TEAM came out to take care of the issue. There was an internal wiring connection that needed to be checked and serviced. The problem was resolved at no cost and within the same day. While onsite Eric, who is Ricks lead suggested scheduled periodic maintenance. We discussed this work on purchase with Rick but decided then to wait and see how often it might be needed. He's a no pressure Owner. A minimum of once per year at the time. My suggestion would be in our climate to do this twice a year since the stairlift is on the exterior stairs. Ricks crew of two technicians cleaned the stairlift completely! Greased what needed to be greased and checked the operation thoroughly!  This included the electrical function and battery. We could not be more happy with the result. The exterior stairlift is new again! Sparkling clean I might add! The cost was very reasonable!! This lift has been through a year of life which included Hurricane Ian. The exterior PILOT stairlift still works perfectly! With the loss of power we were so appreciative of the battery backup option! We appreciate your team approach and quick response to our needs! When I say TEAM I mean everyone at Stairlifts of Southwest Florida, LLC. Initial Google posting February of 2022 Stairlifts of SW Florida, LLC. completed our exterior curved Pilot stairlift a few hours ago. The Owner Rick Headley took the time to make sure that we were completely satisfied with his stairlift recommendation. When I met Rick I could tell he deeply cared about the needs of others. He went above and beyond my expectation to provide an interim stairlift rail system when a coating process caused a delay with some of the components. The interim installation was his idea in case my father was able to travel to his home in Florida, earlier than expected. He has been in rehab from a health issue. He provided the final installation expeditiously. The Pilot stairlift system is very well built and fits nicely in a very tight space on our exterior stairs. It is also very quiet and has voice technology to assist the rider. We have 3 charging locations, the top of the stairs, the landing, the bottom of the flight of stairs. He gave my parents a means to enjoy additional Florida Sunshine with two remotes! Our family appreciates your hands on approach to business and the Pilot exterior curved stairlift solution provided. I highly recommend this company, Erick was super kind, he helped us a lot, we needed a stairlift ASAP and he make it happen, I called him on Wednesday, our appointment was on Thursday and they installed everything on Friday, it was fantastic… Also they have a great customer service!! Making the wrong purchase can be a disaster. Rick came to the rescue Over the past 13 months my 93 year old neighbor has been living with incredible stress. She was sold an outdoor stairlift from a company on the internet that totally did not meet her needs. What she was told about the product and what she received was a disaster. She lives in a second-floor condo with outside stairs. Instead of a single lift, they put in two separate lifts so she had to get off the first lift and walk to the other. They also charged her over $16,600 which is double of what it should have been. Worse, they hard wired it to her condo with no battery backup! We live in Naples where thunderstorms and hurricanes make periodic power outages a certainty. Problems began almost immediately. For over a year they struggled to get the chairlifts  to work properly. Half of the time when the lifts failed, they said they would show up but didn’t; leaving her stranded trying to navigate the stairs. I was so appalled with the poor quality and excessive price I got involved. We found a local supplier who was able to help. Rick, the owner of Stairlift of Southwest Florida, Fort Myers and his team helped us out of a terrible situation. Not only did they help in getting her money back, they also put in a beautiful curved, battery operated stairlift that covers both sets of stairs and doesn’t break down.
