The company was started by Rick Headley in Racine, Wisconsin in 1974 and over the next 25 years the company grew to 7 locations and became the largest provider of respiratory and high-end wheelchairs in Wisconsin. The company was selected 10 years in a row as one of the top 100 dealers in the USA.
This experience has helped shape the philosophies and principals of Stairlifts of Southwest Florida.
